Ann  ANKICA

"Like the Ancient Greeks and Plato, I think that love, beauty and truth are good for humanity. They are the antidotes of evil.
The worst enemy of humanity is ignorance. And ignorance is the engine of indifference.
By experience, I know that the Chess game can fight against this.
It is playful and attractive. It develops fundamental cognitive skills such as attention, memory, reflection and analysis. It solicits creativity, intuition.
It increases patience and determination. It refines and tempers judgments too rapid. Therefore, it contributes to the fight against exclusion and discrimination.
So, when I manage to awaken the curiosity and consciousness of a child, I tell myself that Life is magnificent and  justified."
